About UFW & Me

I Built UFW to Teach People How to Build Real Wealth

Most people are never properly taught how investing works.

They are told it is complicated, risky, or only for experts. Some never start. Others hand their money over to someone else without really understanding what they own, what fees they are paying, or how wealth is actually built over time.

I created UFW Invest to change that.

UFW is built on a simple idea. Wealth is not created by chasing shortcuts. It is built by investing regularly, owning strong businesses, and giving time the chance to do its work.

That is what I teach.

UFW Invest was built to help ordinary people become better investors.

I started out with a degree in electronic engineering, then became a stockbroker in the late 1990s. In 2004, I started a stock market training company and sold my stake in 2006. In 2011, I formed an algorithmic trading company.

In 2023, I wrote Success in Stock Market Investing is a Choice, Not a Secret to teach my two kids how investing really works. The book became a best seller in the stock market category for new releases, and the response to it led to the community that became UFW Invest in January 2024.

My message is simple. There are no shortcuts to real wealth. You build it by investing regularly, staying patient, and following a sound process over time.

I keep things simple and focus on U.S. stocks. I cut out the noise, and I am one of the few online mentors who run a live, transparent portfolio of 20 US stocks within the UFW community.

My Investing Philosophy

Investing does not need to be complicated.
  • Starting with broad market index investing
  • Building discipline before complexity
  • Focusing on high quality businesses
  • Managing risk deliberately
  • Thinking in decades, not months

The objective is long term wealth building, not short-term speculation.

The VAFD Framework

  • V – Value
  • Client Collaboration
  • Data-Driven Creativity
  • D – Dividends

This creates consistency in decision making and removes emotion from the process.

It is structured investing, not guessing.

Real Capital. Real Transparency.

    • The UFW20 portfolio is run with real capital and published openly.
    • Performance is tracked against the S&P 500 Total Return Index.
    • Transparency matters.
    • Education matters.
    • Structure matters.

A get rich quick scheme

UFW is a stock market education and investing community where you can either learn how I pick top-quality stocks at good value, or follow my UFW20 portfolio if time is an issue. The main thing is to get started, and it is a lot easier than most people think.
